How do you make skins?
You need a graphics package. Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks MX, Paintshop etc. Then you need to learn the software. Also needed is a creative mind. And read the rules about skinning an off you go.

What Programs do you guy's use?
I personally like to use Fireworks MX 2004. It is limited for animation. For most other types of animation your best bet is ImageReady. Which comes with the Adobe Photoshop package. (www.adobe.com) Its not cheap but its a massive application. And its not to easy to jump into.

Will we make personal skins or take requests?
No! Simply because we make skins for everyone to use. Not just one person. Why make one skin that only one person will use? When we can still make one that 1000s will use? How do you make the gap at the top of the main_bg?
Simply find out how far you want to come down the page by reading your skins stylesheet. Go to your skins stylesheet and in the "Main Section" box change the "Padding Top:" to whatever it is. The max come down i think is 300. (Play around with this one!)

I keep getting a error when uploading my images!
Usually this is Bebo themselves fault. The could be updating or server tweaking best thing to do is just wait awhile. Other than that just make sure that the file sizes of the images are correct and that the file is not to large in mb either.

Iv done my skin but i messed up the stylesheet!
The only thing you can do here is delete the skin from your page and start again. Sorry but that's the way it works.

Why wont my images upload?
Check there file size and there width and height. Make sure there to Bebo's standards. Keep editing the file until so.

How do i get the image quality as good as you guys?
Its all about how good and comfortable you are with the program you are using. Once you are well up on the program look for tutorials on image quality tactics. We have a tutorial on how to keep your image quality to its max in Fireworks. Click Here to view it. It could be similar to Photoshop.

Where do you guys get your images from?
We use google to search for images, nothing special, but...
best place to look for a particular images is artists band's official pages that certainly helps. Also using wallpapers from particular sites is good to.

What is a skin ID?
A skin id is a id number which is giving to every individual skin which is uploaded to bebo. How to find your skin id is pretty handy, when you click the "preview" or "try it on" link the skin is added to your page (once your signed in) but in your browser's URL bar (where you type web address's) the link should look very similar to this:

Well as you can probably already notice at the end of the link "SkinId=" well the numbers after the = is your skins id.
